Its really not that bad....certainly not unbearable. At 21 there should be no problems. I'd think it would be more painful on a younger girl who wasn't physically grown. I wouldn't think it would come anywhere close to comparing with the mental pain of unwanted pregnancy, having an abortion, or a guy leaving you because he was no longer interested in someone who gave in to his desires.
And I'm not preaching to you at 21. I believe by the time you are that age you would be mentally capable of handling this type of relationship.

Yeah, the first time can be pretty bad, but it gets better with every time. Just relax, make sure you wont be disturbed, and have a good long foreplay.
It took me a while to really enjoy sex, but I think now that I was too young when I started having it - 16 - and nowhere near mature enough, neither physically nor emotionally.
Now a few years later I have a really great boyfriend who makes sure I am taken care of and whom I can entirely enjoy myself with, and it doesnt hurt anymore - ever.

Well if the "first time" is with your spouse, I have heard different stories, yes it hurt, but just for a little bit, and no it didn't hurt at all.
As long as your partner is gentle it may not hurt... but it may,
After the first time the pain shouldn't be there, unless of course your partner is rough.....

Congrats on your virginity.As for the first time hurting that depends on your body.Everyone experiences it very differently.I felt minimal pain and no pleasure so it just depends on you.Your partner should be slow with you and make you feel comfortable.The following times you have intercourse should not hurt, if so i would suggest seeing a gynecologist.Good luck and hopes this helps.

it will only hurt for a few mins most girls dont enjoy there 1st time i didint it only hurts cuzz the piece of skin is being torn (your hymen ) u will bleed after the 1st time 2 nd 3rd u will enjoy it alot wait n see

just depends,
some hurt alot some bleed alot
some don't even do either one
but for the most part : if your 21 and a virgin , not married,
why not wait 'til you do get married ? whats the rush ???
c'mon if it's a guy that wants you to do it and he can't wait

The first time you have sex it will hurt. A couple of times after that it will hurt but not like the first time. It doesn't hurt after that and you can relax and enjoy yourself.

My first time hurt pretty bad, since its a large object forcing its way into a tiny unstretched hole. Unless you've used a dildo before, it will probably hurt your first time.
