I find it mildly amusing
how fast the years speed by
remembering your youth at sixteen
turned around to find thirty five
The means to how I have grown up
haven't always been the smartest way
Perhaps had I listened to my father
when he had something to say
Your words haven't fallen
on to deafened ears
it's simply I couldn't hear them
until I passed up several years.
I couldn't think of anything else so I wrote a poem I gave my father in Feb 87 and he passed away in May of the same year.
