my brothers always looked through mine..i dont see the point of having one anymore. people always look through it. i dont see why anyone would ever have one either.

Keeping it with you can help prevent people from reading it. Hiding it also helps. No one read my diary until I was moving and they stol it out of a box. I have always had one. As a child it helped me express my emotions since I had no friends to talk to. Now I write about my fantasies and leave it out for my husabnd to find. They have different uses.

instead of tellilng people their thoughts they write it down so if thet have somthing mean to say they say it to a diary its like thier best friend
