How will racism end?

Question

I personally believe that racism will end only when the entire poulation is racially mixed. Then, no one could be racist because everybody would be the same. What do you think?

You'd only set the evolutionary clock back by 100,000 years. Blending race out of existence only removes the differential adaptations that nature evolved in humans over time. Races would re-emerge from differential environmental stresses, and you'd have the same situation again. Of course, you could blend again. But that process never gets past the evolutionary point at which blending must occur.

Nature works a constant miracle of improvement on living things, but it does it through the process of natural selection. First comes differentiation (races). Then comes struggle. The winner gets the niche that was being struggled for. The loser departs or dies off.

Like it or not, that's how the engine of life works on Earth.

There's an anthology I read a while back called "How To Save The World." It had this one story, "The Meetings of the Secret World Masters." They developed a DNA-mutating virus that eventually mixed all racial genes into one uniform strand, thus making everyone, essentially, the same color. And, whaddya know, it actually worked! Still, I hope it happens AFTER I either die or go off-planet. I'm too used to the skin I'm currently wearing... Apologies for my egotism.

the only thank you to thoroughly end racism is to coach the international into one vast penal complex camp. the place ever there is freedom, there is going to be people who misuse it. it won't be in a position to be helped. i think of that as long as there are no rules helping racism (which includes no blacks on the bus), human beings might desire to be unfastened to be as racist as they choose for. i do no longer advise it, yet I should not be able to regulate what others are questioning. it relatively is too lots means in the palms of government. Afterall, there are issues worse than racism...

the only thing that will end racism is that people understand that yah...there are differences and accept it..
it's not a matter of integrating everyone etc..it's just a matter of accepting your neighbor for who they are...Racism exists even in "integrated" environments..
Besides we don't all want to be the same, that affects our uniqueness, it is our diversity that helps make greatness, now if everyone would just pull their head out of the sand and accept this diversity..

I'm sorry to say it will never end.
even if the world became mixed one race of say Afro American can still hate say Mexican Chinese.
and if ever the hole world became of the same mix then it will be the turn of tall hating short or fat hating thin and so on and so on.
hate is just hate for hate sake.
for me its good that we are all different keeps the wonder alive.

I agree that the trend towards inter-mixing will contribute to the end of racism but in truth we are all already of one race. We can choose to see ourselves as part of different families, nations, races, etc. or we can choose to see ourselves as just essentially human.

Categories are in general useful but I do not believe that Race is one of them. I also believe that Nationalism and Patriotism will slowly erode, as they are not ultimately useful to humanity.

The only truth is that everything is an illusion; the trick is that only some of worth believing in.

i believe you have the right idea.. when two different groups experience an interracial marriage..their families got to accept it wether they like it or not becasue of the kid..my daughter is half black and half latina..my wife is jamaican .. I can tell a majority in her family still dont like me..and in my family they dont accept my girlfriend..because of all what people say and criticize about blacks..and I agree in certain point..majority of blacks dont know how to behave..but not my wife nor her family..so.. our families love my daughter..and the baby brought us together to parties and all that b...****...so that is the solution..for the haters..eat shiiit.. people fall in love not for color for hearth...and interracial marriages and kids...will finish all this ...but give it 40 more years.,,nowadays the racist are not whites at all...

I believe you are right. However, people will just find something else to feel superior about, religion, class, status, schools, etc.
