I was expecting it to be a comedy. It was quite good, and sad too.

I really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting it to be a comedy as such, but I did think it wouldn't be quite so emotional in parts.

I thought it was realistic, to the point that it wasn't about the perfect family, with the perfect house etc, and even the family that appeared to be perfect (the doctors family) had it's problems, they just weren't so obvious to the outside world.

They seemed to cover many difficult aspects of life quite touchingly.

I've never seen her "am I bovered" programmes, so I didn't have any preconceived ideas of her as an actress, which probably helped!

I liked it, Id already read the book but I still thought it was really good. I wasnt too keen on Catherine Tates accent though, I found it a bit annoying. Do anyone notice that the guy who played Daniel was in Harry Potter and the goblet of fire?

It was good. quite true to the book. I have never seen her comedy show so can't really think of her as something other than an actress

My wife watched it and said it was absolutely great. Catherine is a great actress as well as being a brilliant comedian.
