Well ipod has a better design hands down(reason why microsoft tried to copy same interface) and itunes is easy to used for anybody customer service is great and support forums are the greatest
the zune well you can "transfer" music from one zune to another but it basically the same as an ipod (they have something new called zune cast but itunes has the same thing called podcast...umm i'm thinking copycat)

I would get the video ipod because it has been proven, and like any other new product, the zune still has its glitches to work out.

you should get both a zune video and an ipod video
because that way you wont have to worry about not getting the other one ...

ipod video it has alot of memory and not only may you listen to music on it but watch movies tv shows music videos everything and its really easy to deal with becuase you download itunes and then plug your ipod in and yea you have to fill a little info out about your ipod and name it and everything but from then on when you plug it in it just opens right up and says that its your ipod and know what to do and everything and itunes is really easy to work with i mean im only 13 and i know how to do alot
you can also get limewire if you dont want to buy the songs off of itunes and thats a litlle harder to do but i figured it out
an ipod is easyer and better its a better brand name too they have alot more stuff for ipods then zunes and mp3 players have i say go with the ipod but thats just my opinion
