do you guys think that dr.grey is actually dead seems that way but idk i'm not so sure they would kill off their main character but what do you guys think

Meredith did flat line in the end of the episode but if you read the spoilers it says someone very close to Meredith will die and it will make Meredith come out of her coma. You can read it at greysanatomynews.com so I don't give to many details away for people who don't want to know. How this helps.

I don't think that they would really kill her off. In the end of the last episode, she flatlines and "wakes up" in a room with Denny and the guy from the bomb squad. This is similar to some other medical dramas where the person has a "near death" or "going to the light" experience. They usually talk to the dead people and gain a new perspective on life and then wake up. Also, just because she flatlines doesn't mean she is dead, it just means her heart stopped. They do this on episodes with heart patients where they do surgery and the patient is flatlining and they wait a moment or two, then the heart kicks in again. The fact that she spends time with the dead people can take a while and then when she "comes to" it is only a few seconds in real time.
The show also never said she died, the last thing the chief says is "We're losing her.", not "We've lost her."

finally a passionate topic! i swear i think about this every day! sorry im not writing with apostrophes or capitals but i just cut my finger and its hard to type. no, i dont believe she will die. i dont believe that izzy would say all that stuff ("i believe she will survive, i believe that she is strong enough...etc") just to later in the show have meredith die. plus that would mean no meredith and ellen pompeo is the best actress OR actor on the show. also you know that the last scene, where meredith wakes up next to denny and the bomb squad guy who are both dead, is just a dream. i mean what kind of show would try to show a scene where someone is living in the afterlife??!! that doesnt make any sense. meredith CANT die...PLEASE NO!!!!!

No. The show wouldn't be called Grey's Anatomy if they were just planning to kill Meredith off the show. Anyways, I asked the same question and got a lot of answers.. you can check them out if you like.

She's just having a near-death experience. She'll probably snap out of it halfway through the next show. It should be interesting as she'll get to visit with Denny. I loved his character and any way that they can get him back on for a while is great. And aren't we all a little tired of Meredith's whining?

Before she drowned Meredith said people were fade away, picture of her mother, and she is disappearing, image of little girl on the dock.
The little girl is Meredith, the Meredith you saw on the merry go round when she was little.
In the hospital that little girl is found by her mother.
Meredith is dead.
Her mother is dying.
Meredith has so much more to say, (to her mother ).
They will have their chance to share their I love yous and their I'm sorries.
Meredith will be brought back to life to find out that it was all a dream.
Then it will be learned Ellis died.
This will allow Meredith to grow up and make decisions for herself without thinking she is doing it because of her mother being in Seattle.

I think that Merideth was just dreaming at the end of the show. It would be kind of weird if they killed of the main charachter! Who would narrate the show? Anyways I don't think you should be worried the writers know what they're doing they produced like the number 2 show in America!

She's not dead. She's the main character. It would kill the show to kill her off.

I dont think so because next weeks episode is called " Some kind of Miracle".... I think but I'm not sure.

I also don't think they would kill off the main charachter. UNLESSSSSS, she wants more $ and they're not wanting to give it to her. I guess we'll just have to watch and see.
