I need to compare and contrast the assassination of Julius Caesar with the assassination of two other great leaders. They can be from any country and any period of time. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated =)

You might want to check out Sarah Vowell's book, Assassination Vacation. It explores the events and cultural aftermaths of the assassinations of Presdients Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley. Their respective circumstances are quite different.

There's the assassination of Franz Ferdinand which began the start of WWI, one of my personal favorites. Nicholas II of Russia is another great assassination that would be good to compare.

There are quite a few others, here's a link that I liked to use when I took History and it really does help.

Ghandi, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, John Garfield, William Mc Kinley, Martin Luther King. All would be good candidates for your paper.

First: The assassination of Jean-Paul Marat during the terror of the French revolution by Charlotte Corday. She came from Cannes for the express purpose. She was outraged by the suffering caused by the terror. He suffered from psoriasis over his whole body. He could only gain relief by soaking in a bath all day. She gained access to him by passing in a letter that she had information about those who wanted to destroy the revolution. His people admitted her, and she stabbed him to death.

Queen Josephine of France, beheaded by public decree for crimes against the state.
Saddam Husein of Iraq, hanged for crimes against humanity.
All three of those were thought to be for the greater good of the society, some were some are still being argued or debated.
