Hmm...I live with my other half and we have a lot of privacy that way. Also we have a lock on our bedroom door that we use when the kids are over. We're teaching them to knock and gain our approval before entering and not just barge in. We also do this in return for them, knock and gain their approval before we enter their rooms.

Hopefully in their bedroom. You could also try the living room. If you're looking outside the house, try going camping, or something. My husband and I were alone together on the Superior Hiking Trail, but this is the wrong season for it.
