yes apparently so,because people are charged to watch BBC1 and BBC2,its a british broadcasting thing.

The BBC are crafty, because when they show any kind of an advert, (like they used to advertise the radio/tv times) They call them " Public Information Films " and there's nothing can be done about it. !! xx

If you mean deliberately placing products in front of the cameras then no, that is known as product placements and is forbidden under the B.B.C. charter

if you mean like in progammes then no nothin is allowed we pay are licience for what we watch eg the programmes even though they can be rubbish
