First of all, Adriano should be off the list, if anyone it should be Rooney, Eto'o, or Messi. Second of all, I think the PERFECT lineup isnt a team with the greatest players AKA "the dream team", but a team that know each other so well that they knwo where each and every player on their team is with their eyes closed. A close team that passes well and has SOME skill will be perfect. Strong teams with FAMOUS players AKA: Real Madrid, will not be the perfect lineups because they think they are the best and they can take on a team like Real Betis easily win. The perfect team should be a team that has great history with each other, and that some players have been on the team since they were a starter until they were a sub. Very much like Manchester United. Though they are one of the richest teams in the world, Giggs, Scholes, and Soljkaer have been together for how long? Skill isn't everything, working as a team, a unison, s the perfect lineup.

Here's somethnig to look at: 4-3-1-2
GK: Buffon
LB: Cicinho
CB: Cannavaro
CB: Puyol
RB: Lahm
LM: Messi
M: Gatusso
RM: Lampart
AM: Ronaldinho
FWD: Eto'o
FWD: Ronaldo
I would love to use a 3-5-2 but there's not enough players with different styles to try that. I could use all Argentine players but that wouldn't be fair for the rest of the players.

You probably don't watch alot of England's matches....Ronaldinho & C. Ronaldo will never play in the same team: same will apply to Lampard & Gerard. These pairs have exactly the same playing style, moves and motives.
3-4-3 (diamond mid)
Goalie: Buffon
LWB: Nesta
CB: Vidic
RWB: Gallas
LM: Ronaldinho
HMF: G. Silva
AMF: Deco
RM: L. Messi
LWF: Rooney
SS: H. Larson
RWF: Eto'o

pretty nice list but a few changes:
LB: Roberto Carlos
LCM: Put Beckham for his free kicks (plus gerrard an lampard go together like oil and viegar)
Fwd: not Drogba, i love the guy but i think fernando torres will have him in a year or less. make him bulk up a tiny bit an he will be a monster
Golaie: Hans Lehman, he is probably the scariest looking person in the EPL an man can he play
