Mans level of intelligence has lead to us better technology which has evolved centuries with great development. I don't believe money, war, and power stands alone without the support of technology. Man has learned to make something from nothing from his mind and creativity technology. Truly amazing.

Solar energy striking the Earth's surface and being absorbed by various physical mediums. That then allows us silly humans to extract our own energy sources and drive our economies. To get either money or power, you need to develop (energy) resources first.
