They didn't break up. They've just completed a new studio album. They've toured the last 2 years. And I expect a summer tour this year.

Well, for a while, Vince wanted to do some solo stuff. As did Tommy. Nikki was producing a couple of bands and working on his clothing line. Mick does have some health issues. I do believe they have a studio album coming out this year.

I thouht they went their own ways a while ago. Mick Mars has some health issues and Tommy Lee is being Tommy Lee. They might get back for another small reunion tour again.

XYZ never had the success of such acts from their era as Motley Crue, Ratt and Dokken. But they did make a dent in the melodic hard rock scene with radio hits ‘Inside Out’ and ‘What Keeps Me Loving You’. Now, years later, original vocalist Terry Ilous has regrouped the band and is returning with their long awaited studio album ‘Letter To God.’ I had the opportunity to speak with Terry and get the inside scoop on the band.
What made XYZ get back together?
The fact that as a songwriter I had something else to say. For the longest time I kept silent in that genre of music. Few events in my life have triggered in me a rage to write and play live again. I don’t do music because I have to, but because I want to. I don't do it for the money. Music is a passion not a business

ahhhhhh the Crue.... the reason they broke up is actually a lot of reasons all in one..... Tommy and VInce could not agree on what type of rock music they wanted to make.... Tommy wanted to keep it Heavy and Vince wanted to do more ballad type rock... the other reason is because Mick Mars' health was very poor and getting worse... and Nikki Six could not keep his butt out of trouble and drugs..... hope this is what you are looking for

Tommy Lee left the band a while back, but I'm pretty sure they are still together. I saw them just this past October.

They haven't. Their ninth studio album is due to be released sometime in 2007.
