That is a very generalized question, and without knowing more details this might not be the best for you, but I would recommend Edmond Scientific catalog, which has many general supplies and also some nice kits that are educational and entertaining for children.

depends on what you are looking for. I buy some of my chemistry supplies online from LSS supplies http://www.labsafety.com/search/prodindex.htm. I bought my microscope from a local distributor of supplies. Just look around. You will find alot of price variances. Shop around.
