1.) Be knowledgeable.
2.) Be smart.
3.) Be intelligent.
4.) Be diverse.
5.) Be broad.
6.) Have many interests, capabilities, & diverse knowledge of many subjects.
7.) Maintain "rolling eye contact." (Look everyone in the audience in the eye so they don't feel you're ignoring them).
8.) Spead loudly, but not so loud you're yelling.
9.) Be concise and crystal clear - to the point.
10.) Presentation is EVERYTHING. Dress professionally, look professional, act professional.
11.) Use appropriate hand gestures, but don't look like you have ticks or some sort of frantic psychological disease.
12.) Be upbeat and positive.
13.) Be assertive, but not passive or aggressive.
14.) Don't use offensive or stereotypical language.
15.) Relate to your audience.
16.) Analyze your audience and direct your presentation towards them.
17.) Take a public speech class and interpersonal communication class.
18.) Search online or read about this subject.

A bit of confidence, knowledge of the subject you are speaking on, a sense of humor, and a desire to communicate to a few as well as a large group of people. Eyes forward, head up, clear, loud speaking voice. There is group called Toastmasters that helps you with Public speaking look for adds or notices in the paper
