I am straight. I am Christian. It greatly offends me what I am seeing here. It is wrong. Fundamentalists are the biggest enemy to our faith, not homosexuals, not atheists, not other religions. Fundamenatlists are the only ones that can really make us look like Nazis. Anyone else may disagree with us , but only the fundamenatlists can destroy us and our religion by turning it into something it was never meant to be. Jesus taught us to Love everbody. God loves you all. I love you all. I even love the stupid fundamentalists that destroy our religion and will someday follow the anti-christ. Do you love as well?

I too am straight and a christian and totally agree with you that Jesus NEVER taught us to hate ANYONE. We were all created equal and remain that way, no matter what we do. God loves us all the same, HOWEVER the Lord as well as the Christian hates the sin of the homosexual or of anything that is against God. God abhors this sin as stated in the book of Romans. We should never judge a person's motives or their character, but it's ok to judge if their doctrine is heretical or their life is filled with wickedness. To stand back and not take a stand for Christ is wrong also. We christians are to be the light in a dark world. To say I love you as a brother or sister in Christ and fear risking their acceptance of you, so you don't want to offend them by telling them the trtuth is not loving them at all. It's loving yourself, caring what they think of you, not whether they die in their sins. To judge that person's character is wrong, but so is not stepping up to the plate and going to bat for them!!! A christian should also do a self check and hate their own sin and when they do sin, repent and change. Forgiveness from God is awesome!!

opposition to homosexuality is a sociopolitical situation. As you stated, *some* Christians make a brilliant deal approximately it, stating the Bible, mutually as no longer making a brilliant deal approximately different matters. those days, in a distinctive u . s . a . the place many anybody is Christian, Christianity is utilized with the help of all varieties of folk to justify or bolster their evaluations. Fundamentalist Christians are properly-known for utilising their faith as a controversy for countless suitable-wing regulations. even nonetheless it is no longer as seen or vocal, there's a non secular left besides. in cutting-element cases, as you already know, it is been found that staggering sexual orientations are patently happening and in certainty unchangeable. (tries to "convert" gays usually effect in severe psychological misery, and the two fail or reason asexuality.) For political motives and out of homophobic disgust, some human beings have resisted this concept. with the help of how, the Bible did no longer initially use the be conscious "abomination" in Leviticus 18:22. It says which you (a guy) shouldn't sleep with adult adult males the way you do with women human beings.

Love the sinner, hate the sin!!!!!!
I don't hate gays, why should or would I? But I completely disagree that they should have the right to marrital rights, adopting children, etc. God clearly says that being actively gay is a grave sin and that we are not to tolerate it. Same as adultery and murder and molestation. I love those people and pray for their souls and that they will change their ways and turn over their lives to God, but I will not tolerate their sinful ways. I have the right to protect myself and my family from them. NAMBLA hasn't been legally stopped but we all know what they are doing is WRONG and sinful.
I disagree with your statements about homosexuals, atheists and other religions not being our biggest enemy. They all are our enemy. Because they all are going against God. His laws and His reason for our creation. Our enemy is the combination of them all and the Christians that are tolerating them all.
God have mercy on us all!
