This is damn frustrating. I don't know whether to blame Blizzard, Toshiba, Windows or Intel. No one seems to have a suitable answer. I just want it gone. It makes the screen blinks when I am playing WOW, or Sims. Worst w/ WOW though. And I am not the only one. Help me!!!

Hi. Some sites recommend turning off the "Aero" function as a temp fix. Might give that a try. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html;jsessionid=6BFB65D16D8510B7C0253225C6BE84A1?topicId=58857041&pageNo=1&sid=1

apt-get (whateverdriver) [enter]
That is what is done in Linux, sometimes the fglrx or xorg is used.
I do know that on Windows one must uninstall old drivers, reboot, install new ones, reboot test.
The reboot is every OS, well most all, but you normally cannot install or update a driver without removing the old one.
I hate these Intel Ati Chipsets, they are either XP/Vista or they dont work. that is not compliance, as the Sarbanes Oaxley Act set it out, that is Micro way this OS only or stuff will not function.
Boo Microsoft. But that song has been danced to.
Just contact the Software Companies alot! and tell them what is not working, or is not 'compliant'.
Linux works, I love Ubuntu! Sound works, games play, stuff works. That is Compliance. It is also FREE! And Upgrades are not $269 more.

Blame Windows Vista.

Windows Vista has a bad issues with the driver. I warned many people about Windows Vista and now you are the victim.

According to a programmer that work at Microsoft, he said that Windows Vista is 99.5% completes. Should that .5% of all the security and graphic and drivers make that differences?
