Toshiba is the best. They have the best Warranty too.

Either Sony or Toshiba. But if you wanta really want a sick laptop for a little extra money go for an Alienware. Absolutely sick...Dell is another alternative. People always say dells "suck" but really are a quality pc for the money.

Go sony. Go sony. Go sony. They're laptops are truly amazing, they'll literally last you years, but the minimum for one of their low end laptops is about £699... it's well worth it though :) Check out vaio.com

Toshiba is best. I love Sony and know they have very good pc's, but the laptops aren't as good as Toshiba's.

Well, the one I would recommend is more so just wanted to let you know do not buy a compaq presario- two people I know had it and they both had problems.
