Grandamack; I support peace. I do not support terrorists killing people nor do I support Heros killing people. I know that opinion may be hard to wrap your brain around.

A now famous quote goes "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." During the American Revolution the British used some of the same words about us that Bush uses about the "terrorists." It depends on whose side you are on as to how you will describe the action. If someone was truly neutral they would use different language altogether. Many would say a terrorist kills innocent people, but the terrorists say we kill innocent people when we bomb their villages. Anyone in the killing business ends up with blood on their hands, it goes with the territory!

No absolutely not. Terrorism is an act against civilians (just ordinary people) That is terrorism, when you hurt the elderly, women, children or men not involved in war. War itself has rules that are usually followed so it can be as humane as possible. Obviously dying is dying & killing is killing, but there is a more honorable way involved with NOT being a terrorist.

Heroism is definitely not the word you are seeking.
Among their own kind a terrorist may be considered a hero,
but he or she does not meet the criteria for being a hero
by any definition.
Would you call a person whose main purpose in life is to kill as
many women and children as possible a hero??
If you would you need to seek help now!!!
I would be interested to see how you act when a terrorist attacks
you, or your wife or husband, sister, brother, mother and father.
How will you react then?

I like to think of one of Arnold's last movies before entering politics.
Terrorists attack specific targets (like government offices), in order to spread death and fear among unarmed civilians. The more death, the better in their minds.
A hero either helps to save/rescue such unarmed civilians up to and including bad guy disposal. People shopping in a mall or working in an office building hardly qualify as bad guys.
See the difference?

A hero doesn't hurt innocent people minding their own business. A group of terrorists killed thousands of people who went to work one day to support their families. What is heroic in that? Our real hero's are hunting them down and may God be with them because they have to be stopped.

a person may think that terrorism is the same as heroism if thye are doing the act but on the other side noone will ever think that. Usually terrorism is ment to cause harm so in my opinion, no its not the same.

Gee is it that hard?
A terrorist is defined as one who targets civilians for mass murder.
A hero has NO resemblance to a terrorist.
