You need to tell us what you have failed for previously.
Did you getting a high number of "driver" faults? (If you are getting into double figures that's not a good sign)
Are you having problems with something in particular? Do you have a problem with taking the test i.e. nerves?
How many lessons is "loads"? How did you select your driving instructor? Many people do this by going through the Yellow pages & going with the cheapest. If that was what you did think about changing instructor. The best way to choose an instructor is by recommendation from a former pupil.
Does your instructor use any written records of your lesson? If so what do they reveal?
If not you can download a drivers record from here;
http://www.dsa.gov.uk/Documents/Leaflets/DR_pupil.pdf
Take a look at this, you should be getting box 5 for all of these competancies, discuss this with your instructor if you are not.
You can also get a colour version from your local test centre.
If you need specific advice you need to give a bit more detail. Hope this helps.

Stay calm throughout, take some calm tablets around 1 hour before ur test. Evertime u do a manouver like reverse etc, say to urself ok thats that part done and once u have done all then give the examiner a comfy drive, remember if u make a mistake dont panic just carry on carefully, its the overall results of how the examiner thinks if ur safe or not to be let loose on the road.

I assume you are having trouble with the driving portion of the test and not the written portion.
First, even the best race car drivers were beginners. No one can pass the test without lots of practice. There are things to learn that only come with experiance such as, not turning left too sharp as you run over into oncoming traffic.
Just ride with someone, a really good driver, and observe their driving habits. Don't look at the girls, look at how the driver is doing. Practice at a K-Mart parking lot, or any large unoccupied area even if it's a vacant field.
Don't go for your test until you are ready. Again don't look at the girls. That's for when you pass.

It took me 3 attempts to pass because I was so nervous. Make sure you're feeling calm on the day. Get a good nights sleep before your test. Try not to stress about it too much. Pretend that the test instructer is your usuall instructer and drive as you would with him. The test instructers are normally non-communicative, but just think of it as a normal lesson. I thought I'd failed, half way round my final test, so in a wierd way, it put me at ease the rest of the way round and I drove brilliantly.
Good luck for when ever it is.

I passed my test 3wks ago now!i was so nervous the night b4 but i just relaxed on the day, kept thinking positive thoughts and that childbirth is worse lol, kept thinking in my head which 2 manoevers i wanted and got them 2.
So i would say,
1-Try and relax (easier said than done i know)
2-Positive thoughts
3-Exaggerate,REALLY exaggerate the mirrors,
4- i took some kalms herbal bach remedy spray,(found that helped nerves)
5-just drive like you are driving your nan (in 30)mile zone,
6-Do your best that is all you can do and i am sure you will be fine!

don't try and too far ahead into the test, just concentrate on what you are doing at all times. if you make a mistake, tell yourself that you are now starting from scratch again and put it behind you. I failed my test three times before passing and the test I passed I began with a smile on my face and tried to take the pressure off myself by being positive. best of luck.

if you failed the written test, i say study, study, study.
if it's road test try to get a licensed driver to take you to an empty lot and work on your driving skills. not lessons.... you already know what to do (loads of lessons) just practice what you've learned over and over. good luck!

I passed first time, make sure you book it for a really quiet time as this makes things 100% easier plus i had my lucky bandanna, i suggest you get something similar. Also dont worry about your speed too much, i went over 30 a few times but she didnt seem to bothered, just keep your eyes on the road and be ULTRA confident, confidence will drive nerves away, best of luck!
