Many times they are made to be broken, but it is up to you. If you want to make a commitment to somebody you trust, keep your promise. If not, do not make a promise that you know you will be unbale to keep. It is that simple.

There are only exceptions to some rules
And promise is just a word.. just because you call it a promise doesn't make it any specialer than any other thing you say
