I'm going out for Hockey, and I'm making a manga about Hockey, and I need to know what the second best rank is. I know captain is the best, but what's the second best?

Well, I think that the next most important person on a hockey team has to be the morale booster. I mean, most of the captains can do this for you fairly well, but every team needs one of those guys or gals in the locker room that can really restore the team confidence after a dismal period. Sometimes the captian and asst. captain titles are a little overratted.

It depends on your personal opinion of things:
I've heard three: Captain (yes..), Assistant Captain, and Goalie.
The one that makes most sense is probably Assistant Captain, but as a goalie, I personally think goalie is number one, followed by captain ^_^.
