Usually they eat every 3 hours or so, 4-6 ounces of formula or breast milk.

breastfeeding a 5 month old? i think that's what you're talking about. my dauughter's 4 months old so i'll just give you her schedule. She sleeps through the night so it might be different than other babies her same age. She typically wakes up at about 7am and eats for about 30 minutes and goes back to sleep until about 9am when she'll eat for about 20-30 minutes. After that its pretty consistently every three hours for about 20 minutes until 6 pm when she'll eat every 2 hours for 20 minutes until she's in bed for the night at 1030 pm

Babies eat every 3-4 hours around that age, They will eat roughly around 4-6 ozs of formula or 15 minutes on each breast. each baby is different, but they will let you know when they are full. But that is a guesstimate.
