Well, today I slid down a hill (by accident) because of the slippery ice that covers my backyard. Unfortunatly, my backyard is a living jungle (literally). I got stuck inside a bundle of branches that have thorns around them. I made it alive, but most of my body was stained with blood. So I took a shower and rubbed antiobiotics (Neosporin to be exact). So basically, are thorns poisonious? If so, can you die by them, etc. Thanks~

Are thorns poisonous? Not most of them but it would depend on the plant and I can't think of any right now that are poisonous. However, you can get lockjaw[Tetanus] from thorn pricks so you need to contact your doctor to see if your vaccinations are up to date A coworker got a major infection in a thorn scratch and ended up losing her thumb and part of her hand so you definitely need to follow up with a doctor especially if you notice any redness or swelling.

depends on what the thorns were on. poison sumac if they have thorns would b a problem. I would say watch the scratches and if they don't get any better in a day or two go see a doctor
by the way neosporin isn't particularly the right thing to use as it has sulfur in it and may turn it red anyway. Iodine and Mercurochrome or hydrogen peroxide would have been better choices

Most times the thorns are not poisonous but if you don't remove them they can be painful and may get infected. The ones left behind will either dissolve, be sheltered by scar tissue or may pus up (making it easier to remove).
It kinda makes me wonder though,if there is ice on the ground wouldn't you have heavier clothes on and perhaps gloves. How many plants and how big are the thorns (especially when they draw blood).

I have a friend who is a rose gardener as well. She got a thorn in her hand and it cause her some nerve damage. So be sure and make sure all the thorns are removed and the wounds cleaned so no infection occurs.

i does no longer difficulty to lots on the subject of the thorns, yet once you're able to have her ward off them i might. The rocks you in basic terms could be conscious that she could brake a leg if their are deep crevasses that could postpone her leg. If no longer then she would be able to extra effective than in all threat be ok. have relaxing.
