T.R. He seems like one of the last presidents who actually understood that he represented the American people and not special interests or big business. T.R. fought for the common man, fought the big trusts and is responsible for most of the provisions that workers enjoy today. He also was a conservationist and thought that we should preserve our most majestic natural wonders as well as our wildlife. T.R. would be considered an isolationist today even though during his presidency he elevated the US on the world stage. Almost all of the presidents who have come after him have been corrupt puppets of big business like the Bushes or wacko leftist internationalists like FDR and Clinton(even though he pretended to be a centrist for political gain.)
