Is it me or does this drive others nutzz? When i drive through a drive thru and give the person my money, the person working always hands me the bills first then they pile the change on top of the bills. I don't know how many times i have dropped the change because they just pile it on the bill(s). If i happen to drop some change they look at me as to say. "what do you want me to do about it" This is irritating as hell and really grinds my gears. Anyone else???

Sorry. I made a habit of handing bills first years ago, and haven't quite broken it yet. I do try to make sure people are ready for the change, and have a hand ready so I (and they) don't drop it. Since you pointed it out, I will make an effort to hand change back first tomorrow.

Crank: That's why I do it! I don't want the person to drop the bills (would you miss a $5.00 bill or a nickle more?)

That irritates me as well. What I do is this; when they hand you the bills, have your other hand ready and pass the bills to your other hand, then hold out the hand the put the bills in for change. It annoys them, I noticed. But hey, I'm not getting out of my car to get changed they dropped. lol

Yes, and the last time that happened...I got fed up..and now I do the same thing..I pay ezact amounts and set the change on top of the money and give them the same look...and my comment is this...Well, since most drive thru's hand out my change that way, I thought maybe it must be easier to grab..sorry.....and don't do anything more......Get my food and drive off......I know passive aggressive, but, yelling at them doesn no harm, asking them to wait one second to hand the change doesn't do any good either....its my last resort.

at times it relatively is actual obvious who's there purely for their paycheck, huh? I even have had to tension away various cases in my years. I by no potential have confidence that my food would be arranged properly, or without one extra bonus of a few type (EW!), as quickly as somebody has been impolite and obnoxious. I even have reported what few cases I even have had to do it to whoever's company headquarters, too. the guy on the window is a representative of despite corporation they're working for and as such owe it to their company to do the pastime they have been employed to do. whilst they fail to realize this, i think of they might desire to be reported. maximum corporation's savour understanding stuff like that, too.

It is annoying.

However I think part of the idea is that the change weighs the bills down so they don't fall out or something.

Try cupping your hand more.

It can be irritating, isn't it. Usually, people who work at drive-thru don't take their jobs seriously, it's either a part-time job or it's a temporary job, therefore, they don't take the customers as serious, this is most likely at a fast food place.

After they get off work they all run outside and sweep up all they coins people dropped. They may look dumb, and maybe they can't speak so good Ingly, but you can bet they know what they are doing when they hand you the change.

See how they tip it slightly so the coins start to slide.

Ticks me off everytime. I think they are all retarded. They must make a couple extra bucks a day with all the change on the ground under the window.

Why not go inside the restaurant? That's not to say that the same thing wouldn't happen in there, it will just give you a break--sounds like you need one. Go in and eat leisurely.
