I would love for a agent to come along and give me a 2nd try toward winning the dream I wanna from childhood. does anyone have the heart to give a 2nd chance in life.

Dude, you story sounds like mine. Have you tried out for the MLB Scouting Bureau? http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/about_mlb/tryout_us.jsp
They haven't updated the 2007 schedule, but see if they came near your town last year. If you try out for pitcher, make sure you bring the heat. They do not care if you have pinpoint accuracy, or have 90 pitches. I threw 89 at the camp I went to a few years back, and I was overshadowed by guys throwing 95 plus...who still didn't get offered any contracts. There was a guy who played triple A the year before who wasn't even picked up. If you try out for infield/outfield/catcher, you have to run the 40 first. If your time doesn't cut it, you are done. These are incredible odds, but if your really think you can play, you can get signed. Good luck, and I sincerely hope you can make it. If you do, let me know what you did!

Go down to a minor league ball park early. They will be doing warm ups. Try to talk to one of the players and ask him if there are any agents/scouts in the park to point them out. They have no problem showing you who they are. Then from there you go over introduce yourself and ask if there is a chance to prove yourself in the future like in a try out or something for a team.

If you look around online, you can find dates for open tryouts for major league teams. Some of the independent league teams also have open tryouts. Alternatively, find a college that would allow you to pitch for them.
