I have 4 handed down old Mexican recipes for the best damn chili sauces that I have ever tasted, I have been to dozens and dozens of Mexican restaurants and none come close.

Mole', Red, and two green chilies.

How would jar and I sell this great chili on line?

With a product like this it is easier to get it off the ground locally. Forget about Walmart - that is silly, they won't talk to you until you can gaurantee delivery of several hundreds and thousands of boxes a week!

Start smaller and test out your recipes, jars, name and price. Also you need to sort out your production.

Begin at farmer's markets and flea markets until you have got the above sorted out.

Move onto a Kart at the mall and taking your chili around the local resturants.

You will come to a point where you will need to move to bigger production facilities.

Remember your health and safety laws as well as your licences and taxes.

Here's an article on using shopping mall karts:

Great that you thought of selling things online. just sell them through ebay.com you can get a good bidding price. But i would love to suggest you to take it serioulsly and go for your own website.

Mymexicanchili.com lol first check whether the name is avialble its sounding really great and just take the help of a indian web developer cause they can do things for less price with american quality connect the website with paypal system and start become mexican chili king online.

But before that take a paper and plan everything from packaging, shipping, customer support, promoting the website.

If you cant all this then go for solutions offered by yahoo small business and hundread others in US. there is a site from france looks fantastic you can start your website store in minutes

I'm not sure about selling online-but it would be wise to check out distant selling rules and regulations where you are.

Secondly, when you sell online you'll need to promote your website so if at all possible I'd check farmers markets so you can go along sell in person and promote your website too.

Lastly, as well as selling mexican chilli why not consider making up mexican hampers? They would sell nicely in the holidays.

Good Luck!

There are an amazing number of regulations on producing and selling food items. And if you sell online, you might have to meet the requirements of multiple states. Look into that first and find out what laws you'd need to follow.

Good luck.

You can make your own website and advertise on places like Yahoo. HTML isn't all that hard to learn, you can go to http://www.w3schools.com for tutorials.
