It's not a form of rap...rapping consists of lyrics not sayin the same ish over and over again with some crapy beat...

That's true, but rap is not crap.
"Finger snapping" is a catchy method of keeping a fixed tempo and beat.

He doesn't mean when you snap your fingers!
He means groups like Dem Franchis Boys or D4L.
The reason is because other more "experienced rappers like Wu-Tang, T.I. and other real rappers see throught the gimicks!
They rap about virtually nothing. Thats why i choose to listen to East Coast Stuff Mostly!

its just a way to keep the beat.
saying that finger snapping is not a part of hip hop/rap is like saying bobbing your head is not part of rock.
