i think shes dead right now, but i think that she will come back to life. at first i thought thatn if she did die, then the show was over, because of the name, but Greys anatomy is the name of an anatomy book, so who knows

What I think is that meridith is going to be up there for a while and everybody is going to think she is dead she is going to still have brain function and a heart beat because they usually dont catch it when they are stage 3 hypothermic. I think that she will see her mother up in heaven they will have an acutually a nice conversation and then her mom will tell her that she is proud of her and meridith will wake up. They said a grey will die but not meridith.

She did die...they showed her flat line.....flat lining is dying......I think they will revive her but she will be in a coma and they will have part of the episode where she is talking with Denny and the bomb squad guy focus sing mainly with Denny on things that have happened since his death. Probably a Christmas Carol type of thing, showing what may happen if she doesn't return.
She has to live or the show dies as this is Grey's Anatomy not Gray's Anatomy as in Henry Gray's book Anatomy of the Human Body.

Before she drowned Meredith said people were fade away, picture of her mother, and she is disappearing, image of little girl on the dock.
The little girl is Meredith, the Meredith you saw on the merry go round when she was little.
In the hospital that little girl is found by her mother.
Meredith is dead.
Her mother is dying.
Meredith has so much more to say, (to her mother ).
They will have their chance to share their I love yous and their I'm sorries.
Meredith will be brought back to life to find out that it was all a dream.
Then it will be learned Ellis died.
This will allow Meredith to grow up and make decisions for herself without thinking she is doing it because of her mother being in Seattle.

I agree with the previous post. She will flat line and die and visit the dead people (Denny and the bomb squad man) and maybe watch the other characters in the hospital but then she will miraculously come back. SHE HAS TO!! It would be so sad if she didn't. AND the biggest thing in TV history. To kill of the main character so early in a hit show? I am SO excited to see next week.

*RUMOR* has if that Meredith does indeed die... and *stays* dead....
The title of the show remains Grey's Anatomy becuase Meridith's halk sister who is Med school is going to join the cast at Seattle Grace.... therefore, the name Grey's Anatomy still applies.
I *hope this rumor is wrong... I like our little slut Meredith. :)

She is actually dead right now, but I don't think she will stay that way. They will bring her back, and I think she will be coming back with a message for Izzy from Denny. They better bring her back! She's too much of the show. I think they would lose alot of their audience if they left her dead.
