Well I lost a lot of weight due to medical problems and I was put on a high calorie diet. Just go to the supermarket and find foods high in calorie. What you can also try is Boost drinks they come in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla and are 360 calories each if you drink 1 or 2 each day they will help you gain weight. You can change how you look if you want too but remember don't do anything drastic just to get a boys attention. Always remember to be yourself.

One thing that I would need to know is your age. Often, a person is "skinny" at an early age, teenagers for example, but gain weight later. I am glad that you want to do this in a healthy manner. Try resistance training (using weights is one kind of resistance training) but be careful in doing this so that you do not injure yourself.
As far as your thinking that you are not pretty, I suspect that you are prettier than you realize.
Also, keep in mind that he might not be the right fellow for you. Give it time. You may very well find out that Mr. Right is someone you haven't even met.
Good luck!

Don't change your looks to please someone else. I know it's tempting, but it's not worth it---because what would happen if your looks changed again, after you changed to please him? And wouldn't you still like him if he was a bit skinnier and had thicker eyebrows?
It's not the way you look. I'm sure you look lovely. Many girls would love to have the "problem" of being on the skinny side. Your weight will adjust as you get a bit older. Don't try to push it one way or another, because your body knows what it's doing at this point.
If this boy isn't interested, he probably just hasn't gotten to a point where he knows what he should look for in a girl. Don't take it personally, and try to find someone else who might give you the attention you deserve.
Be confident in yourself, and take care of yourself, and you will be fine.

If he is only concerned about your looks then he is not good enough for you. Why would you want to be with someone so superficial. There are lots of nice guys out there who wouldn't judge you nased on your weight or other physical features. He is bound tobe a jerk and this is your first warning sign. Just be glad that you don't have to put up with him!

If you have to change yourself in anyway for a guy to like you then he is NOT worth it... I promise you, I went through all of that when I was younger and it wasnt worth it.
