I broke a mirror yesterday. In terms of bad luck....?

I'm sentenced to seven years bad luck...how bad do you think?

That is very bad luck indeed and I sympathize with your lost of the mirror. Time heals all wounds, in seven years time the memory of this unfortunate mishap will fade to trivia. In the meantime take care not to walk under any ladders least you find a can of paint on your head.
Perhaps the myth of the broken mirror arose in a time when mirrors were precious and difficult to replace leaving the careless victim in the unfortunate position of not being able to tend correctly to their personal appearance which might serve to diminish their civic standing for years until they were able to replace the broken accessory. That in mind I suggest you purchase a new mirror without delay regardless of the cost.

I don't believe in these myths. Anyways, dont worry, nothing bad is going to happen, my big sister's friend, Betty broke a mirror (well someone elses mirror) and Nothing bad happened. Dont believe in myths, they are just well, fake! If something bad happens, it doesnt mean its the mirrors fault, it probably is just a conveinience.
