Like the answers above, only most Dells don't come with recovery CD's any more.

When you first turn your PC on, the Dell logo should appear. Hit F12 when it does, and it'll beep. You'll see a menu appear. There should be an option on there called System Recovery or Restore or something like that.

And you will lose everything if you restore it.

You wil ned to find your Recovery Cd, you got this CD when you bought your pc, if you dont have it you can order it by calling Dell.

Ok, assumibng you found your CD

You dont need to Crash your system to restore to factory settings.

Caution
You wil loose all the drivers installed on your system, and after performaing restoration you will need to find the drivers to get the hardware working.

u can do system recovery so it'll go back to the settings like u first got it. just turn on ur computer and wen it says the company like compaq or hp press one of the f' buttons on ur keyboard

go to the start . and click all it has a places you can restore. all program asserorite then acccesabilites system tools then system restories or take all program off and restore them

when u bought the dell pc u should of been given an resotre disk if it was brand new ....
