First let me start off by saying i do not know your specific situation as to what is causing your anxiety and why it is causing it so with that in mind i offer you this.... While breathing is a good technique to calm the bodies anxiety its not always helpful for the mind. Many times in people who commonly get nervous or anxious, think about all the things that can happen to us that are going to cause some negative effect on us which in turn makes us feel even more anxious or nervous. But many of these fears are illogical and its only because we keep treading on them that makes our anxiety worse. For example if someone is to stay in a place by themselves they may think that someone may rob the house and so if the person keeps thinking about that they will react accordingly and have a higher level of anxiety when they hear noises such as the house settling or noises outside. What you need to do is find out what is making you anxious and why, then critically and logically think about it and think about is it really a likely probability that your fear might actually happen. Many times when people actually think about why they are anxious they realize there isnt much in the way of reasoning other then their own paranoia about it. If this helps at all please tell me.

First of all, if you really do not want to stay in that house, you should be strong and mature enough to say that you just cannot go and stay. State your reason or reasons. Your fear and anxiety are signs of you being emotionally disturbed or immature. Be wise and grow up. While it is true that some say that to conquer fear you must face it. . this principle does not apply all the times. There will be times when you have to truly avoid the circumstance that brings fear in order not to harm your self or your emotions. Be assertful and grow up. Peace be with you.

Girl, you need an imaginary friend. Ok, you're either afraid of your grandparents, who you care about, like a grand daughter is supposed to. Or you're afraid that something will happen to you
or them, when you're staying with them, for some reason. Are you also afraid of being alone? Any way, back up. What I want you to try, to do, is 1. in hale, exhale. It dosen't have to always be deep brathing, just breathing. Then think about something else,
such as what fun you might have, or what you could do, while there. Maybe even think about what you could cook for them, or make for them. 2. Think up an imaginary friend for youself, perhaps an imaginary Uncle. Whenever nobody is in eye or ear range of you, talk to that friend. 3. Hold, hug and talk to their cat, if they have one. I always do that with my cat, when I'm really in need of a friend. Something my mother always said, when I was a kid, feeling afraid, is "think about mashed potatoes".

What are you so nervous about? Did something tramatic happen there?
If you keep looking at the situation in your mind knowing you are going to be nervous than you will. Tell youself positive things and view in your mind how you want the visit to go.

It might helped if you explained a bit but it depends, I dont want to sound rude, but if he looks at other girls, or isnt really always there he might not love you back but doesnt want to hurt you, if he would do anything for you and only looks at you with love then he probably does :) I hope things work out shot

I disagree with the idea that fear is due to not growing up.
It seems to me that, if you trust your grandparents, you might be able to talk to them about it. Many people have these difficulties, and who knows, they may understand. perhaps they even have the same fear about you coming!
And perhaps it would be good to talk to someone else about it before going there. Parent, neighbour, schoolteacher, friend, ...
Good luck!

Prayer. It calms you, helps focus your mind on what is truly important, AND it puts you in touch with the Higher Power.

Pray with the faith that everything happens just like its suppose to happen, and that we really aren't ever dealt anything that we can't handle.
