If you have PCOS... a LOW carbohydrate (not a NO carb) diet has helped many of us. Cut out sugar, refined foods and starchy veggies. Eat plenty of protein (eggs, fish, beef, pork, chicken, tuna etc) and non starchy veggies- spinach, green beans, broccoli, sprouts, lettuces, mushrooms, radish, etc. Drink lots of plain water to flush toxins from the body and to help the liver and kidneys.

Some doctors will do surgery and go in to remove them. I am surprised that this one is unwilling to help. I would get a second opinion from a different doctor. See if having them removed is an option. Just be clear that you really want children. If the doctor doesn't think they can be removed, then ask if there are any treatments or things you can do to help you conceive. Good luck!

I'm not sure what kind of Dr. you are seeing, but I hope its an OB/Gyn. If not, that is who you should see. Depending on whether the cysts are on the inside or the outside of your ovaries, it may affect your ability to pass an egg through your tubes. Otherwise, you could see a fertility specialist to have in-vitro fertilization done, but it's pricey. Otherwise, there are plenty of children that need good homes and are waiting to be adopted.
