well for a first.. everyone has the same chance as you do... maybe not financially... but if you try hard enough, you can succeed...
a bum once asked me for some money.. i asked him what he wanted it for... he actually told me this "Look man, Im an alcoholic, and I need a beer."
So I gave him some money just for having the balls to be honest with me...

Sorry for them because they are standing out there and no one will ever give them anything; no because I'm a kid and I never carry loose change around... I'm broke because I'm too young to get a job.

I dont give them anything. Last winter I encoubtered a man wanting money. When I asked him for what he said it was for food and clothes. Well suddley he didn't want any help when I refused to give him money but offer to buy him food and a warm coat.

My town prohibits that.
Government, Catholics, & Prodastants (a few other groups) have a group system to get the homeless off the streets. It's working.

I do if i have some literally in my hand or just my pocket, I can't be bothered if it means i have to actually stop and dig to the bottom of my bag to find my purse

I feel very bad for them.
One time we went to Chicago and we saw a bunch of those people.
My mom just walked by them and I just followed her but I was like "How can you do that?"

I do but my husband usually tells me not to. They are just going to buy drugs or something. Maybe I should just take them inside to buy what they need. Good idea!
