Save on police, jailing, courts. Legalization brings their prices down therefore ruins gangs, terrorists and the maffia.
What's fricking wrong with that?

Legal drugs = Less crime not more.
Drugs are high priced cause they are illegal.
Addicts who mug or rob you would not need to do so anymore if they are cheap.
Gangs would lose their main income.
Just the fact that drugs are expensive make them more attractive for the mentally challenged....
The mess we are in we owe to a misconception of human psychology and the hang ups of morality.

The following will multiply ten-fold:
Health costs borne by the public, children drawn into addiction by marketing campaigns like those used by alcohol and tobacco, Workplace accidents and deaths caused by abusers to themselves or others, auto accidents and deaths that involve the innocent as much as the user, Child abuse by parents who can't handle the drug and parenthood at the same time, to name a few.
Making such drugs illegal offers society at least an opportunity to isolate punishment to the abuser, rather than allow the abuser to punish the innocent, either economically or bodily, before they are stopped.
But if you still feel that way, feel free to jump on a plane being piloted by a heroine addict, or have a doctor operate on you while he's a day late on his last coke hit. Introduce your daughter to her male teacher who you know uses recreational Ecstacy, or put her on a bus with a driver who dropped acid a few days ago. Enjoy the feeling you'd have in a drug-legal society, then ask the question again, if you need to.

because then these drug addicts are going to take up space at hospitals and are going to take the taxpayers money by rehab and the hospital. imagine how many drug addicts will be in the hospital each day and what if someone who has lived a fair hard working life needs to go to the hospital and there is no more room. also it will tear down communities and imagine seeing a crack head on your way home everyday.

I agree. Plus, if the drugs were legal, the tax money could be used at drug treatment facilities, or for other good purposes. It would get the friggin drug dealers out of the picture, and lessen the chances of the drugs being tainted.

Your thinking is severely flawed. If drugs were legalized, the amount of crime would increase (drugees typically commit crimes to fund their habits), the number of traffic accidents would increase from DUIs, and there would be a severe increase in medical bills from drug rehabs and psychological counseling (family members dealing with drug addict family members). Either you're on drugs or you haven't been negatively impacted by it YET.

the problem with that...is that your going to have twice maybe three times as many wigged, cracked, and hyped up people running around creating mayhem, driving cars, and working...
total access to hardcore drugs anytime you might feel a whim of doing it...dude come on...your nuts...or maybe just stoned...
i am all for legallizing weed...but the hardcore stuff...even if in my day i have sampled and done such stuff...i have seen their addictiveness and their craziness...and to mainstream it by making it that much more accessable...totally absurd...
the only benefit, is that finally people will see why drugs are horrible..because so many people would be dying and going crazy around them....look at amsterdam,..when they first legalized everything it was loony town over there...but now when you go there the only people using are vacationers and out of towners...cause the people who live there saw what they can do..and decided not to continue doing them...
