There is this guy I like and we are dating but I had never told him about my feelings towards him. We had been seeing each other for about 8 months now. We never had intimate relationship yet. Anyhow while I was talking to him yesterday, I said to him maybe I should learn to ignore you at times. But I was just kidding . Instead he looked at me and said this " YOU WERE ALWAYS GOOD AT IGNORING ME EVEN WHEN WE WERE KISSING" . I went quiet didn't know what to say. Im still not sure what he meant by that? confused what is her trying to say?

I think that he feels the same about you and you feel towards him. Somebuddy needs to get brave and open up! He's feeling uncertain how you feel too. Take the risk and just tell him!

How did he look and how did it make you feel when he said that and what did he say next? Answer all that and you've answered your own question. Because if he saw your reaction and didn't correct you or say anything to straighten it out then you took it the right way! I am sure he would have told you if he meant it any other way! Good Luck! idk, that's a wierd thing to say. Maybe he meant you seem distracted while the two of you are kissing. Have you been watching TV over his shoulder or anything :) Yes, he was probably just trying to come up with a comeback and said something wierd and confusing. I would let it go.

It sounds like he doesn't think you connected with him. Maybe he got the feeling that you weren't really as into it as he was, or he felt like you were distracted or didn't enjoy his kiss.
My advice is to tell him how you really feel about him, before he gives up on you.
