OH.........I also dont know if it could be the fact that her grandmother just passed away last month.Plus my daughter is still dealing with recovering from head surgery just 6 mons ago.
(she had to have a shunt in her head replaced she was born with hydrophelus-WATER ON THE BRAIN)!!!!!!!! I dont know if all this will help...........but i hope so.........THANX AGAIN!!!!

It is possible that your daughter is still reacting to the loss of her grandma (my condolences on the loss) but I've also experienced some irritability while in the middle of recovery from surgical procedures. I had my last surgical procedure in June to check the status of my endometriosis and because I was off my birth control pill and just had surgery I found myself very irritable. As soon as I started taking my B Complex again I was fine.

It sounds like it could be a combination of both of these things but to be on the safe side I would talk to her pediatrician to get their input.

After my brother had brain sheers from an accident and walked out of the hospital 5 days later (a miracle the doctors said he probably would die or become brain damaged) he suffered from very mild temporary memory problems, but he was very short-tempered which was something he never was. In any brain trauma or anything that affects the brain, a temper is common. Plus losing someone does not help. Give her time, you may want to get a counselor just to hear some second opinions or to help ease her pain or temper.

wow shes been through a lot..if i were her i'd be in a bad mood all the time to. some other reasons why she might be in a bad mood could be because of being bullied at school, having some difficulty with school work, and if your asking her why shes being b!tchy that can just make her even worse and more angry (my mom does that to me). anyways i wouldnt worry about her getting her period soon because you have to be alot bigger to get it.

Having her grandmother pass away might be a factor. But what about the kids at school, is she around anyone new. She may be picking up this attitude from other children.

I think you kind of answered your own question, sounds like she's been through a lot poor girl.Just be there for her no matter what and just try to keep talking to her and maybe she'll eventually open up to you.Just let her know that you love her and will always be there for her through everything.Bless you both

It sounds to me like she has a lot of reasons to be moody and irritated.

When she's bitchy, don't give her a lot of attention, but look for opportunities to praise her for doing things that are desirable. Spend time with her doing things you both enjoy. Let her talk about her challenges if she wants to, but don't force her to talk about things if she doesn't want to- just be with her, support her.

Due to having that surgery i would be bitc* also she probably hurts and that is reason enough to be the way she is but you shouldn't and i hope you don't use those terms to her..Ask her what is wrong. And try to talk to her.
