Well we know he shot the sheriff, and we know the sparrow shot c*ck robin.... but by Jove you're right! Who shot the deputy?!
The sheriff perhaps?
Or in actual fact it could have been some kind of plot to frame him as a cop killer when in actual fact he killed a cop killer??!!

The Deputy's wife shot him... found out he was shaggin' the Sherif... whole new spin on a real old issue. True for sure.

Well no one did... only the Sheriff got shot as I understand it. He went against the advice of the home office and didn't have his body armour on, silly sod.
