During the day, dress in layers, some of the casinos are "over air conditioned" so until you have a few you may be freezing your tail off. As for the clubs, dress like your in vegas on vacation! Look like a million bucks! Who cares what your hubby wears!

Most casinos have no rules about dress. As long as you're not walking around nude, nobody cares.
Ditto for food courts, buffets, family restaurants, and shopping areas.
The few restaurants that do have a dress code...you can probably spot from a mile away. They're the ones with the stern tuxedo waiters in front, the celebrity chefs, and swanky old customers. If you do land into their clutches, expect to spend at least $100.00 a head.
Most nightclubs do have a dress code. But as long as you're dressed 'smart casual' (no sneakers, shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and tanks), you'll do just fine.
If for some reason you don't get in, there's no point in arguing about it. Simply go to another nightclub in that casino or a neighboring one. Since standards and tastes vary, you're going to find a bouncer who will let you in somewhere.

My wife and I go to Vegas 2-3 times a year. My wife dresses nice but I wear shorts, sandals, and T-Shirts or polo shirts. I have never been denied access to anyplace. In March the days are hot and the nights are cool and all the buildings are super air conditioned so you might want to take a sweater or light coat. Arizona Charlies East on Boulder Hwy Has steak and eggs 24/7 for $2.99 and Slots-A-Fun has a 3/4 lb hot dog with chili and cheese and a drink for under $3. You can't eat it all it's so big. The Rio has the biggest and best buffet. It's expensive, about $40 for two people but worth it. The Tropicana has the best seafood buffet in town for about $15 each. Mermaids on Fremont Street has Chocolate dipped bananas, deep fried Twinkies, and deep fried oreo's for 99 cents each. Hard Rock Cafe has steak and shrimp for $6 but it's not on the menu you have to ask for it. Yeah we go there for the food. LOL
If you like to gamble on the cheap try Harrah's, The Sahara, Slots-A-Fun, & the Nevada Palace. They have $1 a hand blackjack and 50 cent roulette. Have fun!

.During the day dress in what is comfortable. Good shoes as you may walk a bit or if you are standing at a craps table. Other then that it depends on where you are going. If you are going out for the evening dress accordingly

unless you plan on eating at a 5 star restaurant, dress comfortable, with good walking shoes. Nothing is formal and you will see all types, so you will fit in with anything you wear.
