You would have to equate colors with temperatures or smells or tastes.

Watch the movie Mask with Cher and Sam Elliott, there's a part in the movie where the main character describes color to a blind girl.

for example I will compare them to flavors, like yellow is like lemon, green is like fresh mint, blue is like the smell of the ocean
