I am from a small town and my niece will be turning 15 soon and I want to find her a really nice dress that is not the same old thing that everyone around here has seen a million times. And if anyone has any ideas for the recuerdos (party favors) I am looking for something different. Thanks any ideas are appreciated.

someone who is handy with a needle and thread [or i'm sure fabric glue would work, and would be a little faster] could add little crystals, sequins, beads, little white fabric flowers, etc to make the dress more special

You should never buy such an expensive dress where you cannot try it on and have it fitted. You need to go to the closest big city. You don't give a budget for the recuerdos so it's impossible to say.

why not ASOS, its brilliant and cheap. Im from Ireland and order from it every week. Items are delkivered very quick.. Give it another chance! If not, try ebay. They have really cheap summer dresses to bid on. Or if you go to a stores website(river island say) they sometimes have clearence sales on the site, and you can grab a bargain there.... x

I find the best party favors are the ones that are the most practical. Outdoor lanterns that hold tea lights were centerpeices at a huge wedding I went to about 2 years ago. I still have my garden lantern (it is sculpted iron with leaves and hummingbirds)
