Watch for the scam Burburry is going to pull.
Make the product in China...send it to UK as unfinished goods (Yorkshire) so they dont have to pay import duty on it.
Stitch a 'MADE IN BRITAIN' tag on it (then its finished goods)
and sell it for £60 or £70 on the highstreet.

'Made in England' means made in England. 'Made in the UK' means made in either England, Northern Ireland, Wales or Scotland, often dependant on which export market the supplier is aiming for. The English cricket team is English, of course. I don't believe Wales or N.Ireland have one though Scotland seem to try the game occasionally - rather like rugby and football. The Lions, on the other hand, is made up of British and Irish players. Funny old world.

All countries under the English flag will put "made in England" on their consumer products, the products made inside the island of Britain only have the right to put made in U.K.

I bought some pork from tesco's yesterday and that stated its origin was UK.
As for the others it's self explanatory. The Rugby Union have a British and Irish Lions side though.

Because the Welsh and Scotts don't have the political clout of the English, and the Irish don't care.
