i cant tell the difference between any dance music - e.g. trance, hard house, etc. plz help!!

dance and trance are similar sounding music but trance is instrumental and dance has vocals to it. hard house is similar to the others but the music is faster with alot of bass

funky house is the catchy ones with nice singy bits, other than that, id class trance as annoying, and as for the others...no idea!!
