Your campaign speech should include the issues and what you plan to do to resolve them. They should include: Healthcare, social security, Iraq war, education, womens rights, taxes and always remember that you are working for the people. We want honesty and solutions. You may be able to come up with a few more issues yourself but whatever you do, be yourself, be confident but not cocky and always tell the truth. This is the best advice I can give. It should never be a slamming of the other candidates. However, you should always stick with the issues. You won't ever go wrong with that.

As you know, I am a Presidential candidate and would like to take this opportunity to discuss my agendas with you. I will be developing a working Health Care plan as I believe health care is a right and not a privilege for the few. I believe in common sense solutions and not liberal-conservative labels. My plans for tax cuts are those that would help the Middle Class and not corporations. I support a woman's right to choose. Federal programs need to be developed to protect the rural economy. Companies that create domestic jobs should be rewarded by a tax incentive. Stem cell research needs to be supported by the government. Many of our Veterans returning from war would benefit from this as well as many other people. And last, but not least, I intend to institute a life-long top notch education program that affords even higher education for those who make the grades. I would appreciate you support and vote. Thank you!

What are the major issues talked about in your classroom?
What do your classmates want to hear?
Your speech should include social issues, but do not be too extreme; stay in the middle, to garner the most votes.
Use some humor in your speech; not too self-deprecating, but something that will loosen up the crowd.
I.E. What goes 10-9-8-7...Bo Derek gradually getting older.
Dress sharply, but not too conservative for your speech.
Smile easily.
Good luck!

Here is the web site where there are the Dem and Con speeches that you can look at and get some ideas. However, I wouldn't suggest copy and paste because all instructors will have those and look for plagiarism.
However, it would be helpful for you to get some ideas on wording and issues. Hope this is helpful.

Your teacher is partly right. As a politician your job is to convince the most people that YOU are right. However, you must remember that you have to buck/convince the Congress AND the Senate that you are right, while still making the AMERICAN PEOPLE think that you are talking TO them and not DOWN to them. We are all not lawyers, but we are all NOT STUPID!! You CAN win an election and STILL be hated by the people that put you there! Remember...you ARE one of us, so speak from your heart,THINK with your brain and be prepared to STAND YOUR GROUND!! THAT is what an AMERICAN does!!

Thank you for the nomination, I know I can be a good public servant. I promise peace throughout the world. There will be Disneylands in every country. People will not have to pay taxes, they will dispose of their own trash, and police themselves cause jail will be permanent. There will be no food, you go to jail to rot. Music will go back to being soothing and TV will never show another re-run. People will only be allowed to think about tomorrow and never yesterday. ELECT ME IN NOVEMBER AND I WILL GRANTEE IN WRITING A BETTER WORLD.
