i havent seen silence of the lambs err anything b4 i went to check this movie out but wow...
even all that he did..i still felt sorry for the guy.. and to think that he still had a lil bit left in his heart to love lady murasaki.. and she rejected him...
all the critics are saying that it was a crappy movie.. i dont even kno why i went to see it..
i think it was the strong trailer and the appealing good looks of hannibal.. what about you?

If you have no prior knowlege or memory of the character Hannibal Lecter then I would see the movie as you won't be disappointed then. Of all the Lecter films this one was the weakest, through no fault of the actor portraying him in my opinion. This I believe was his first english language film and at times was mesmerized by his portrayal of the man struggling with the monster inside. However, please do make a point to see Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon especially...and if you wish the luke warm Hannibal.

I don't want to see Hannibal Rising. From the trailer I have seen more than once on TV it made me not want to see the movie. It just looks like a movie about a messed up guy that kills people. Nothing really exciting about that movie unless you like seeing people getting killed in a movie.

Not bad. Especially if you're a WWII history buff. It's got some decent action, suspense, and gore. The story is pretty good and the leading man is OK, he could have at least tried to impersonate Anthony Hopkins voice from the other three movies though.

I've been trying to get out to the movies to see it. I saw that it got a bad review on Yahoo movies but I usually want to see for myself...but since I've seen so many bad reviews on "answers" perhaps I'll see something else.
