"Every other month" doesn't necessarily mean "irregular"-if you have long cycles, then you may not have a period every month. Is the number of days between periods consistent-that's a better indication of regular cycles than whether you have a period in each calendar month. If it is consistent, then you probably ovulate somewhere between ten and sixteen days before your period, but the only way to tell is to use ovulaton predictor kits, and/or charting cycles using BBT, cervical mucous and cervix position/texture.

If you're not having consistent cycle length (where most of your cycles are the same number of days) then it's much more difficult to tell when you ovulate, or if you ovulate at all, but charting cycles may be a good way to figure out if you're ovulating. You can also use an OPK, and follow the guidelines for beginning to test based on your shortest cycle, but it may take many tests to find and LH surge.

This could be several different things. You might have only one working ovary which would have you ovualte every other month since in some women we tend to switch ovaries each month (not true of all women). It could also mean you have a really long cycle. I would start taking ovualtion predictor kits and tracking basal body temp to see exactly when you ovualte. Good luck

Your period is not suppose 2 b every other month. It is suppose to happen every month.
