Sometimes, yes. Especially when you feel that you cannot explain something any clearer.

I used to get frustrated about this until I learned to take responsibility for my own communication. We are not telepathically connected so we have common language to convey our thoughts. Quite frankly most of us fall short in our abilities to be effective communicators.
We want so much to be understood yet we lack the skills needed to get our point of views across to others. Then we get so frustrated and blame other for our own short comings. The next time you feel misunderstood check your own reality and make sure you are coming across in an understandable coherent way.
Remember it is your responsibility to understand your audience and adjust accordingly. If I know I am speaking with a person with little understand of the subject, even if the subject is me, I know a have much more background and for shadowing to express in order to create a true duplication of the meaning of my thoughts and words.
I used to train sale staff and the hardest concept I had to teach is active listening. The better listener you become the better communicator you become. They both support the other.

Yes!!!!!!Sometimes I feel like I must be speaking my own language...because although I think what is coming out of my mouth makes perfect sense...the person I am talking to looks blank or like I have grown to heads. That person is usually my husband. I wonder sometimes though...am I the odd person in my world? Or are the people around me the ones who are crazy?

yes . . . though, at times I have to understand how I frustrate others when I do not attempt to understand them. it goes both ways. sometimes people get so mad, they stop understanding, and just try to win an argument. there should be a magic word to make them stop and think for a sec.

i feel that worry is constantly an obstacle and can cause more problems than just dealing with issues in an objective form and using subjectivity as a ground for reform.

I would lie if I said no, but I usually have the brains & patience to figure out a way to communicate another way so they end up getting it!
