Wanna buy a good multiplayer pc game... Prefer it's not a shooter or MMORPG, but really unique shooters I'll play. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can get Guild Wars which is only like $40 and you dont have to pay monthly, your probably gonna need two copies of the game if your going to play against each other but only get it if you think he's old enough. Or you can download Maplestory which is free and play that with him.

I enjoy Guild Wars and Battlefield 2
If your considering buying Guild Wars then there are three options.
The First campaign is called Phrophecies and is good to start with
The Second campaign, Factions, is great for Player vs. Player gameplay
The Third campaign, Nightfall, is better to buy after you have already purchased a previous campaign

Any of the Command and Conquer games. I personally like Red Alert 2 and Generals the best.
Age of Empires II is pretty fun also.

Runescape, if u get addicted to it, you can be one of the most powerful and rich people in the game, but if u dont get addicted and play for an hour a day like me, ull have a game that will last you forever, well its lasted me 7 yrs lol im still finding out new things about it. =))

Guild Wars all the way. I'd suggest Prophecies for a first time player.

Unreal Tournament 2004. You can get a free demo and play online with other folks. UT3 will be coming out later this year, I cant wait.
